Arts District Creative Office, Los Angeles CA
Situated in Los Angeles’ Arts District, this creative office campus is composed of two pre-engineered metal buildings designed to provide flexible, cost-efficient work environments. Each building features an open office plan with an integrated mezzanine, allowing tenants to adapt the space to a variety of workplace configurations. Modular, built-in kitchens and restrooms further streamline construction while reinforcing the project’s emphasis on flexibility, efficiency, and economy.
The building design draws upon the industrial character of the surrounding Arts District, complementing the scale, materiality, and forms of the neighboring buildings. Both structures are clad in vertical-seam metal siding and defined by simple, offset gable roofs, establishing a cohesive architectural language across the campus while allowing each building to maintain its own distinct identity. Building One is characterized by deeply recessed punched openings articulated with accent colors, adding depth and rhythm to the façade. Building Two features vertically proportioned windows and a more open eastern elevation that engages the surrounding neighborhood. At the ground level, this transparency creates an inviting presence for a restaurant and coffee shop, extending activity from the interior to the street and providing a warm, neighborhood-oriented gathering space.
Building One is located at the western end of the site, at the corner of Seaton Street and Palmetto Street. Building Two is situated to the east, at the corner of Colyton Street and Palmetto Street.
